  • After months of design revisions, improvements and prototype testing  Wilboro is excited to release an updated version of our original Deluxe Briefcase, now dubbed the "Dominion Briefcase".

    The Dominion briefcase is handcrafted over multiple days from the highest quality English bridle leather, robust waxed canvas, brass rivets and time tested fasteners.

    Every aspect of the Dominion has been studied and designed to be ultra functional and timeless.

    The Dominion is the perfect briefcase to stow away your workday necessities whether it's travelling to the boardroom, on an airplane, or any unexpected adventure you might encounter. 

    Features include:

    -Front external zippered  with internal organization for 2 pens, business cards and a phone.

    -Rear luggage panel allows the bag to be slid over the handle on many types of luggage then locked in place so it doesn't slide around.

    -Built in padded laptop sleeve fits computers up to 15 x 10 x 1"

    -Asymmetrical Felt padded shoulder strap which is removable and reversible for left or right shoulder carry.  Connected to bag with durable German Loxx fasteners.

    -Loxx fasteners are also employed on lid opening closing system to for easy access while keep the internal contents safely stowed when closed.

    -Lined with 400D Ripstop Nylon for spill and soiling resistance and to make any necessary cleanups just a bit easier.

     -Bag internally stuctured with 1/8" closed cell foam to maintain shape and provide protection for your goods.

  • These are the final batch of Revival Satchels for 2024.  I decided to make this a special edition batch in a two tone colour scheme with olive and medium brown Wickett & Craig English Bridle Leather. 
  • I'm very excited with how these turned out, they look fantastic.
  • A few things to note over the standard bags: 
  • The Olive colour does show off the natural imperfections in the full grain leather, you will see some scars, variations in dye shades across and between panels and other marks.   This really adds to the aesthetic IMO.
  • Although the design is the same the multiple colours require a fair bit more labour and these do cost a bit more than the standard bag. 
  • After two years of development, testing, countless mock-ups, prototypes and pattern changes a new bag was born – The Revival Satchel.

  • It didn't take long for the Revival Satchel to start turning heads and even winning Carryology's Best Work Shoulder bag award in 2023

  • From the beginning, the concept was clear – to re-imagine the classic leather school satchel/briefcase for everyday use both around town and going into the office. 

    This new bag needed to be sleek and minimalist yet ultra-functional. 

    It takes the best of time-tested materials and combines them with modern ones – all the while maintaining a cohesive look. It pays homage to traditional leather bag design without being constrained by it.

    We've settled on a fusion of vegetable tanned leather and heavyweight felt mixed with one of the most cutting-edge fabrics in the world.  It is fitted with magnetic closures, premium safety buckles, and custom hardware developed specifically for this bag. 

    The bag has been designed to be worn either as a traditional satchel/briefcase (horizontal) or angled like a messenger bag.   The unique strap attachment system allows the bag to pivot in relation to the strap – thus accommodating varied carry preferences.

    Every aspect of this bag has been carefully considered.

    Features include:

    -  Front flap pocket with organizer panel.

    -  Fidlock Magnetic front closures.

    -  Removable high density industrial felt laptop sleeve with leather zip pocket for a 13" laptop. (14" Macbook pro's will also fit)

    -  Messenger-style Asymmetrical Felt padded shoulder strap which is removable and reversible for left or right shoulder carry.  It is attached to the bag with custom aluminum hardware and has an Austrialpin Cobra buckle for quick disconnect and adjustment.

    -  Bag lined with Dimension Polyvalent UVX40 x-pac for strength, structure and durability.

    -  Leather grab handle.

    -  All hardware is replaceable.

Wellington Tote (Nautical)

  • Wilboro's popular Wellington Tote is back with few design upgrades to make it even better!

    The perfect blend of timeless style and durability, just as at home on a day at the beach as it would be in use on your daily commute.

    When developing these bags we put our first prototypes in the hands of some hard working Moms to give real-world feedback on daily use. That feedback led to a number of design revisions and some additional features that we feel confident have made the Wellington the perfect daily Tote.

    Features:

    Handcrafted in Ottawa, Canada.

    The Totes feature two external pockets on one side, which are great for wallets, phones and water bottles.

    The opposite side has one large pocket with a snap closure, perfect for magazines, books and many other items.

    Internally the tote has one pocket with a robust brass YKK zipper to house your most secure valuables, keys and the like.

    The top of tote can be snapped closed in three positions or left open depending on the fullness of your bag. This is accomplished through the use of a Leather closure tab with heavy-duty brass snaps.

    The tote also features a double bottom and rounded lower corners for a long-wearing life.

    Premium Leather handles are affixed to the fabric with matching leather anchor points, with Solid brass hardware.

    A new brass D-ring has been hung with leather from one side of the tote to hook your keys onto.

    We are also offering a Monogram service where we can add up to 3 Letters/Numbers. The monogram will be set on the outside leather crest panel (opposite side to the Wilboro logo.)  See photos for examples.
