Toboggans and Leather
Before kicking off the holidays, the Ottawa City Woodshop hosted a handmade toboggan building course featuring local expert furniture builder Karen McBride of Woodkilton Studio (www.woodkiltonstudio.com) and myself. Students in this mixed discipline course steam bent ash and hand-stitched leather to make gorgeous toboggans that are now hitting the slopes all around town.
